Offered by the Ministry of Culture, this 4-hour course is aimed at artists, cultural practitioners, managers and board members involved in the management of not-for-profit associations. It aims to clarify the mechanisms of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the cultural sector.
Participants will learn to master essential subjects such as intra-Community VAT, exemptions, exemption, VAT rates for cultural activities and reporting obligations. The course also includes simulations comparing salaried and self-employed fees, with a focus on VAT and social security.
Alternating theory and practical cases, this course is given in French, with the option of asking questions in Luxembourgish, German or English. A course guide in French is provided.
